WOW Events

Year 3/4: Foxes: During their Tomb Raiders WOW Day, the children used their colour mixing knowledge to paint desert scenes before adding silhouettes of pyramids. They then had a visit from Professor Robert Jones, an Egyptologist. The class had lots of fun learning facts about Ancient Egypt and role playing the process of mummification.

Year 6 – Rabbits: Year 6 have had an Ancient Greek Gods Wow Day! During this, they worked on a challenge in teams to plan, produce and present a large information poster about their God. They then presented their information to the class and evaluated their products against planning efficiency, product quality, presentation skills and how well they worked as a team. They also learnt about the Ancient Greek Olympics - how it all started and the races/activities that took place (as well as trying a few out!).
