VE Day Celebrations

At home, you have been celebrating by having your own ‘Stay at Home’ VE Day Party to mark the 75^th anniversary of the end of World War II. It’s been wonderful seeing all the baking, craft and flag making you’ve all been up to. Thank you for sharing your lovely photos, we hope you all had a lovely and memorable day to mark such a momentous event in our history!

In school, we had our own VE Day Party to celebrate the 75th anniversary of Victory in Europe! After making our own decorations and learning all about VE Day, we enjoyed listening to 1940's music, completing a treasure hunt, playing lots of party games and, of course, eating a delicious picnic!
