Pupil School Council and Eco Committee
As a courageous community, we believe that all pupils at our school should have a voice and the opportunity to become involved in activating changes for improvement in school, the local area and on a global scale.
The children on the School Council also form our Eco Committee who are a part of the Eco-Schools Programme. The School Council is voted for democratically by the whole school. Each class votes for one representative to be on the Council (two in mixed year-groups) and the House Captains (voted for by their House) also sit on the Council. The School Council meet at least once a term with a member of the SLT to discuss projects, changes and issues. The children represent their classes and houses, bringing opinions, ideas and solutions to each meeting.

All children across the school contributed their ideas for what they would like to see in our school's Eco-Code. It was then drafted by our Eco-Committee and shared with the school.
